Por ordem superior se torna público que o Paraguai declarou, em 25 de Setembro de 1996, nos termos do n.º 2 do artigo 36 do Estatuto do Tribunal Internacional de Justiça, que aceita a jurisdição obrigatória deste Tribunal.

Publica-se em anexo a referida declaração.

Compulsory jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice
Declaration by Paraguay
The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary, transmits herewith, in accordance with paragraph 4 of article 36 of the Statute of the International Court of Justice, the text of the declaration by the Government of Paraguay, recognizing as compulsory the jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice, made pursuant to paragraph 2 of the above article 36.

The declaration was deposited with the Secretary-General on 25 September 1996.
