Por ordem superior se torna público que foi concluído em Lisboa, em 19 de Novembro de 1981, o Acordo, por troca de notas, entre o Governo da República Portuguesa e o Governo do Reino da Suécia sobre a Cooperação para o Desenvolvimento no período de 1 de Julho de 1981 a 30 de Junho de 1982, cujo texto em inglês e respectiva tradução para português acompanham o presente aviso.

Excellency:
With reference to the Agreement on Development Cooperation 1 July 1978-30 June 1981, dated 27 October 1978 (hereinafter referred to as Agreement on Development Cooperation) between the Government of Sweden (hereinafter referred to as Sweden) and the Government of Portugal (hereinafter referred to as Portugal), I have the honour to propose the following:
1 - Swedish contribution
Sweden shall, subject to the provisions set forth or referred to in this Agreement, make available to Portugal during the period 1 July 1981-30 June 1982 resources (financial resources, personnel, consultancy services, equipment and commodities) up to an aggregate value of SEK 1300000. This amount is additional to and above the amount made available by Sweden to Portugal in accordance with the Agreement on Development Cooperation.
2 - Utilization of the resources
With reference to the Agreement on Development Cooperation, article II, the resources shall be utilized for the finalization of the programmes in the sectors of housing, education, cooperatives, health and women's situation in accordance with a decision to be taken by Portugal.
What is stated in article III-VI of the Agreement on Development Cooperation shall apply also to this Agreement.
If the above is acceptable to you, I have the honour to propose that this letter and your written reply to that effect shall constitute an Agreement between the Government of Sweden and the Government of Portugal, which Agreement shall enter into force upon the date of your answer and remain valid until both Parties have fulfilled their obligations thereunder.

Tenho a honra de acusar a recepção da carta de V. Ex.ª de 19 de Novembro, cujo teor é o seguinte:
Ao abrigo do Acordo de Cooperação para o Desenvolvimento de 27 de Outubro de 1978 (a seguir designado por Acordo de Cooperação para o Desenvolvimento) e firmado, para o período compreendido entre 1 de Julho de 1978 e 30 de Junho de 1981, pelo Governo da Suécia (a seguir designado por Suécia) e pelo Governo de Portugal (a seguir designado por Portugal) tenho a honra de propor o seguinte:
1 - Auxílio sueco
Sem prejuízo das disposições contidas ou mencionadas neste Acordo, a Suécia concederá a Portugal, entre 1 de Julho de 1981 e 30 de Junho de 1982, auxílio (financeiro, consultivo, em pessoal, em equipamento e mercadorias) no valor global de 1300000 coroas suecas). Este montante será adicional e superior à quantia concedida pela Suécia a Portugal nos termos do Acordo de Cooperação para o Desenvolvimento.
2 - Utilização do auxílio
Nos termos do artigo II do Acordo de Cooperação para o Desenvolvimento, o auxílio será utilizado na concretização de programas nos sectores da habitação, educação, cooperativismo, saúde e condição feminina de acordo com as decisões a tomar por Portugal.
As disposições contidas no artigo III-VI do Acordo de Cooperação para o Desenvolvimento aplicar-se-ão também a este Acordo.
Se a proposta referida merecer a concordância de V. Ex.ª, proponho que esta carta e a resposta que, por escrito, V. Ex.ª se dignar conceder constituam por si um Acordo entre o Governo da Suécia e o Governo de Portugal, o qual entrará em vigor na data da resposta de V. Ex.ª e será válido até as duas Partes cumprirem as obrigações nele estipuladas.
Tenho a honra de confirmar que o Governo de Portugal concorda com a proposta apresentada na nota enviada por V. Ex.ª e que a carta remetida por V. Ex.ª bem como a minha resposta à mesma constituem um Acordo entre os nossos Governos.
Queira V. Ex.ª aceitar os renovados protestos da minha mais elevada consideração.
