Torna público ter sido emendado o Acordo entre o Governo Português e o Governo dos Estados Unidos da América Relativo a Vendas de Produtos Agrícolas.

Por ordem superior se torna público que, por troca de notas, cujos textos acompanham o presente aviso, foi emendado o Acordo entre o Governo Português e o Governo dos Estados Unidos da América Relativo a Vendas de Produtos Agrícolas, ao abrigo do programa do título I da PL 480, publicado no Diário da República, de 27 de Abril de 1977.

Excellency:

I have the honor to refer to the Public Law 480, title I, Agricultural Sales Agreement, signed by representatives of our two governments on October 22, 1976, as amended April 26, 1977, and to propose that part II, Particular provisions, be further amended as follows:

In item I, Commodity table: Under appropriate column headings make following changes: on line titled «Corn/grain sorghums», change «25,000» to «118,000» and «3» to «12.6». On line titled «Tobacco/tobacco products», change «3,300» to «1,100» and «14» to «4.4».

All other terms and conditions of the October 22, 1976 Agreement, as amended, remain the same.

If the foregoing is acceptable to your government, I propose that this note and your reply thereto constitute agreement between our two governments effective on the date of your note in reply.

Accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.

Em resposta, tenho a honra de informar que o Governo Português dá a sua concordância à proposta de V. Ex.ª, constituindo a nota de V. Ex.ª em referência e a presente nota um acordo entre os nossos dois Governos.
